About CommuniKate

CommuniKate is a Pediatric Speech Therapy Clinic located in the Hazel Dell area of Vancouver, Washington. We offer traditional speech therapy services for articulation, receptive and expressive language, pragmatics, and more. Services are available both online and in person. In addition, we partner with local play spaces to provide a 6-week parent training workshop. This course, called PlayTalkLearn, teaches parents how to interact with their children and provide language rich environments throughout their daily routines.

Our Mission

Our firm belief is that therapy is most effective when the three key members– child, family, and therapist–work together. The goal of CommuniKate Speech Therapy is for knowledge to be shared and for us to learn from each other. As a parent, you are the expert in your child, and we are experts in our field of speech and language development. Let’s work together through a family centered approach to find ways to best support your child’s needs and to use their strengths to our advantage during our time together.

We Get it

CommuniKate is the result of years of brainstorming ways to best meet the need for parent eduction, speech therapy, and family support. We have a passion for working with children and their families to create personalized speech therapy goals that will make a difference in their lives. We also understand the hustle of everyday life and strive to make therapy activities fit in to daily routines like bath time, grocery shopping, or bedtime. Working together and targeting speech in daily routines can result in quicker progress and less time out of the day to be in therapy.
